SEPTEMBER 8, 2011 :

The recall involving raw shelled walnuts announced by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) does NOT involve any Amira products. We are continuing to provide our wholesale and retail customers with high quality, safe and nutritious dried fruits and nuts.

Amira, Winner of the 2007 Alpha contest

Montreal, July 3rd 2007- Amira Inc. is proud to announce that it was the recipient of 1st place in the Distribution category of the 2007 Alpha contest, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ville St-Laurent and Cartierville. This prestigious prize was awarded during the 23rd annual Alpha gala that took place on May 23rd 2007.

The Alpha contest rewards, yearly, small to medium enterprises that, due to their dynamism and performances, have excelled in their field. The consequences of such contest are immense for the participants; not only does it increase the visibility of the enterprise but it helps them to get known, to show their experience and builds confidence and credibility towards their suppliers and customers.
